| Exact Software | Legacy | Exact Macola 10 | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010 White Castle implemented Exact Macola 10 as its ERP Financial system. The 2010 deployment focused on accounts receivable operations and embedded Exact Macola 10 into daily cash application, credit handling, and deduction workflows at White Castle’s Columbus, Ohio finance site.
Exact Macola 10 was configured to support core accounts receivable functionality, including cash receipts entry, credit clearing to resolve customer deductions, freight claim tracking for damaged or late shipments, and invoice aging and past due monitoring. Configuration emphasized transaction-level processing such as entering cash deposits and applying credits to clear deductions, aligning application screens and transaction codes with AR operational tasks.
Operational use of Exact Macola 10 occurred alongside AFS and desktop productivity tools, with routine exports to Excel for account research and reporting, and Outlook used for customer and broker communications. Staff workflows documented interaction points with external freight carriers and brokers for backup documentation and repay requests, reflecting a mix of system-supported transaction processing and email-driven exception handling.
Governance centered on the accounts receivable team procedures for deduction research, broker coordination, freight claim filing, and past due follow up, with Accounts Receivable Specialists responsible for transaction entry, claim filing, and customer outreach. Exact Macola 10 served as the transactional record for these governance activities, supporting consistent AR workflows, audit traceability, and operational control within the Columbus AR function.

| Alight Solutions | Legacy | Alight LeavePro | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, White Castle implemented Alight LeavePro as the Absence and Leave Management capability within its broader Alight benefits relationship in the United States. The company had worked with Alight Solutions on a U.S.-focused 401(k) communication and engagement program that increased participation across exempt and non exempt team members, illustrating use of Alight benefits administration capabilities alongside the Alight Worklife platform.
Alight LeavePro deployment focused on centralized absence case management and automated leave workflows, including employee and manager self service and compliance-oriented leave tracking aligned to U.S. statutory requirements. The implementation of Alight LeavePro provided a structured intake for leave requests, configurable approval routing, and workflow orchestration to standardize time off and long term absence administration across restaurant operations and corporate HR functions.
Operational integration occurred through the Alight Worklife platform, enabling shared benefits and absence data flows between LeavePro and Alight benefits administration used for retirement communications. The deployment scope is aligned with the U.S. employee population engaged in the Alight benefits program, covering exempt and non exempt team members and supporting HR and payroll adjacent processes where Alight Worklife is the system of record for benefits events.
Governance emphasized standardized leave workflows and centralized case governance, with role based approvals and HR service center coordination to maintain consistent administration and statutory compliance. Where Alight LeavePro was used, configuration likely included audit trails, documentation management for medical certifications, and SLA driven case resolution processes to support franchise and corporate site operations.
Separately, the documented Alight engagement program for retirement savings increased participation across exempt and non exempt team members, demonstrating White Castle s use of Alight s integrated benefits capabilities while Alight LeavePro served as the Absence and Leave Management component within that broader benefits architecture.

| TELUS | Legacy | TELUS AFS Ignition ERP | Distribution ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 White Castle implemented TELUS AFS Ignition ERP as a Distribution ERP to centralize production and distribution control across its network of production and distribution facilities that support 370 company owned restaurants and nationwide frozen product distribution. The deployment was driven by a need for consolidated reporting and real time visibility because the company previously purchased external datasets such as Nielsen, 84.51 and Retail Link without a unified analytics infrastructure that sales, purchasing and accounting could use.
TELUS AFS Ignition ERP was used alongside TELUS WMS Supply Chain Solutions to operationalize core Distribution ERP capabilities, including inventory management, order management, warehouse operations and production scheduling. The implementation emphasized configuration of warehouse management and inventory controls to support just in time inventory goals and to align production flows with distribution requirements. The Exceedra Professional Trade Promotion Management Solution was selected for tight integration with Ignition ERP to provide one step forecasting and live trade accrual functionality required by commercial teams.
Integration work focused on creating a joined reporting fabric between TELUS AFS Ignition ERP and the Exceedra TPM instance so Purchasing, Sales Planning, Accounting and field Sales teams could access consistent views of trade activity, accruals and forecasts. The program centralized and normalized external retail and market data sources so that aggregated category and retailer performance reporting could be produced from a single operational platform. Operational coverage included production, distribution and commercial planning workflows rather than front of house restaurant operations.
Governance and process change prioritized a move from transactional off invoice trade practices to collaborative performance based trade planning with retailers, and from batch reconciliation of trade to live accrual accounting inside the combined Ignition ERP and TPM environment. White Castle selected the Exceedra Professional TPM Solution because it addressed their stated outcomes of reporting for key stakeholders, one step forecasting and live trade accrual and because integration with TELUS AFS Ignition ERP provided a single source of operational support.
