In 2009, WuXi AppTec implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial platform to standardize billing and commercial financial workflows across its China operations. The deployment centered on financial management capabilities and was positioned to support customer service driven commercial records, contracting, and billing activities managed by the Customer Service Department.
Configuration work focused on accounts receivable, billing and contract accounting functional modules within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with project-aligned billing extensions to accommodate outsourced engagement billing. The implementation captured quotation, contract and billing record structures, and configured automated posting and transactional workflows consistent with ERP Financial operational terminology.
A key integration signal is an in house developed Project Management System that was expanded to establish billing functionality and synchronized automatically with the downstream ERP, Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This integration moved quotation, contract and billing documents from the PMS into the ERP system and supported consolidated monthly financial reporting for China operations, linking commercial records to enterprise financial ledgers.
Operational governance emphasized process alignment between Customer Service and finance, with automated synchronization to enforce a single source for billing inputs and consolidated revenue reporting. The rollout institutionalized routines for tracking revenue forecast versus actual and consolidated monthly revenue reports, preserving transactional provenance from PMS entries through Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial postings.

In 2015 WuXi AppTec implemented Microsoft 365 as a Collaboration platform. WuXi AppTec uses Microsoft 365 on their website and within corporate collaboration workflows to support content publishing and team coordination for its life sciences operations in China.
The implementation leverages core Microsoft 365 capabilities common to the Collaboration category, including cloud email and calendaring, SharePoint content and intranet services, OneDrive file services, and Teams for synchronous collaboration and meetings. These components enable document co authoring, shared team sites, and centralized content publishing workflows that align with enterprise collaboration practices.
Microsoft 365 is surfaced on the public website while also serving internal collaboration needs, positioning the application to bridge external content delivery and internal corporate communications. Operational coverage includes corporate communications, project coordination, and document centric collaboration across business functions that require secure content sharing and version control.
Governance is organized around Microsoft 365 tenant level administration, identity and access controls, centralized content governance, and standard collaboration policies to manage permissions and document lifecycle. The narrative positions Microsoft 365 as WuXi AppTec Microsoft 365 Collaboration for corporate communications and document collaboration rather than a point solution.
