SAP Legacy SAP Business ByDesign ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Kaar Technologies USA 2018 2018
In 2018, YG-1 Japan implemented SAP Business ByDesign with an on-site engagement led by Kaar Technologies USA, executing the project in Osaka from May 2018 to July 2018. The engagement focused on delivering ERP Financial capabilities through the SAP Business ByDesign application to support manufacturing and precision tooling operations. The implementation covered functional modules for Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Human Resources and Financial Accounting, with requirement gathering and scope analysis conducted on-site. Project workstreams produced a detailed Business Blueprint after validating requirements with each business process owner, and included fine tuning activities and solution walkthroughs for all confirmed business scenarios. Custom configuration tasks included custom price list setup, a subcontracting process, warehouse layout design and valuation strategies, and creation of customised print forms and reports. Data migration and operational readiness were explicit components of the SAP Business ByDesign implementation, with migration of Customer Master, Supplier Master, Product Master for 10K precision tools, Customer Price List and Supplier List Price. Workflows were configured, test scripts were prepared and executed, and end user testing and training for Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics and HR were performed on-site in Osaka. User manuals and screen recording sessions were provided to support knowledge transfer. Governance and rollout emphasized confirmation with process owners, scripted testing and training, and post-go-live support delivered by the implementation team. The narrative documents SAP Business ByDesign as the central ERP Financial application for YG-1 Japan, instrumenting standard ERP workflows and local operational controls across the involved business functions.
