In 2017 YMCA Canada began a national implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to standardize finance and operations systems across the Canadian federation. The initiative replaced Microsoft Dynamics GP and ran from March 2017 to December 2019, with the platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations by a third party developer and scoped to a federation of 42 YMCA and YMCA YWCA associations across Canada.
The implementation focused on ERP Financial capabilities, deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to deliver core financial management and operational workflows typical of the category, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and association-level financial processing. As part of configuration work the team defined and configured security roles in D365FO to align with association operational needs, and the project advisory role covered requirements definition, testing strategy, training design, and deployment planning.
Integrations and operational coverage included consolidation of 42 associations onto a single Microsoft Office 365 tenant to unify email and identity before application cutover, and an explicit program to move associations toward PCI compliance ahead of their D365FO implementations. The technical deployment therefore included a centralized application platform for finance and operations and a federated rollout model tying association offices into the common tenant and ERP instance.
Governance and rollout responsibilities were structured around national project leadership, with advisor-level oversight of requirements, definitions, testing, training, and deployment across associations. Security role governance, training programs for association staff, and staged migration of email and payment compliance were central to the operational change management for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations rollout.

In 2013, YMCA Canada implemented Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite). The deployment established Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) as the organization's primary Collaboration platform for corporate email, calendaring, document co-authoring, cloud storage, and virtual meetings.
Configuration and functional scope emphasize standard Google Workspace capabilities, including Gmail and Calendar for communications, Google Drive and shared drives for content repositories, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for collaborative authoring, Google Meet for video conferencing, and the Admin console for organizational unit configuration and policy controls. The implementation included user provisioning structures and group-based access control to segment program teams and administrative staff.
Operational coverage spans YMCA Canada and is used by staff, program leaders, and volunteer coordination teams across the organization's branches and community sites in Canada. The deployment supports internal communications, program delivery workflows, and document collaboration across multiple departments without specifying an external identity provider.
Governance centers on Google Workspace administration processes, role-based account administration, and standardized provisioning and deprovisioning workflows tied to HR and operational onboarding. YMCA Canada Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) Collaboration therefore underpins collaboration and communication business functions while relying on built-in admin controls and group policies for governance and compliance.

Operational coverage was limited to the corporate public website, with the primary objective of informing user experience optimization and content decisions. No named back-end system integrations were specified in the source details.
