Operationally the environment supports portfolio managers, traders, and a centralized compliance team, enabling a straight-through trading process where portfolio managers enter positions in Moxy, Rules Manager applies pretrade rules, trades are sent for execution, and fills return to Moxy for post-trade checking. The integrated platform and scalability of SS&C Advent technology accommodated rapid growth and acquisitions, absorbing additional teams and roughly 800 accounts in a single quarter without reported degradation of system performance or the need for additional operational headcount.
Project governance relied on SS&C Advent Professional Services and a train the trainer approach, with the operations team receiving vendor led training and then upskilling the broader office. Ongoing support has included use of Advent help desk and Community resources, and the vendor project team executed mini conversions to onboard acquired teams and their data into the shared environment.
Ziegler experienced explicit outcomes reported during the rollout, including improved reporting accuracy and productivity from a single database, enhanced performance measurement and composite creation via SS&C Advent Portfolio Exchange, and streamlined trading compliance and productivity through automated pre and post trade checking with Advent Rules Manager.
