Pronto Software Legacy Pronto XI ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 Zip Water implemented Pronto XI ERP, an ERP Financial application, to centralize procurement, inventory planning and procure-to-pay controls across Operations. The Pronto XI ERP deployment targeted improved planning and purchasing workflows for materials, components and procured finished goods used in manufacturing, with explicit emphasis on maintaining below inventory target while meeting factory service levels. Configuration work on Pronto XI ERP included the introduction of reorder point targeting, a roadmap toward MRP style planning, and an auditable procure-to-pay workflow with delegated approval controls. The implementation covered category and supplier relationship management capabilities, purchase requisition and purchase order enforcement, and support for capital expenditure approvals tied into operational procurement processes. The program was executed in close engagement with the IT function to extend use of the Pronto XI ERP application across finance and operations workflows, supporting planning and purchasing for new product introductions and product transitions, and controlled run down of obsolete items to limit write-offs. Operational coverage included facilities and site services, logistics and the Zip warehouse, with process workstreams addressing supplier consolidation, customs classifications, carrier selection and coordination with freight forwarders to improve inbound flows. Governance changes included the creation and chairing of a Master Data Steering Committee and the introduction of SOX compliance controls required by the new parent company Culligans in the USA. Supplier governance was formalized through negotiated agreements with KPI driven service level commitments and regular business reviews, while Pronto XI ERP provided the central ERP Financial platform enforcing DOA approvals and auditable payment processing.

Advance Systems Legacy Mitrefinch Time and Attendance Time and Attendance HCM n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Zip Water implemented Mitrefinch Time and Attendance. The deployment targeted workforce time capture and scheduling for Zip Water's manufacturing operations in Australia, covering approximately 7000 employees and aligning with enterprise HR and operations requirements. Mitrefinch Time and Attendance was configured to deliver core Time and Attendance capabilities including employee time capture, shift rostering, absence and leave management, exception reporting, and manager approval workflows. Configuration emphasized shop floor time capture and shift based scheduling common in manufacturing, with configurable rule sets for overtime, breaks, and attendance exceptions. The implementation leveraged Mitrefinch’s manufacturing experience drawn from clients such as Wilson Transformers, Cooper Vision, Mitsubishi Electric, and others. Operational coverage focused on HR administration and line management, with centralized configuration to maintain policy consistency across operational groups and role based access controls for HR administrators and supervisors. Workflows included supervisor approval chains, exception escalation, and scheduled roster planning to support continuous production operations. Governance established HR ownership of time and attendance policy configuration, manager level approval processes for exceptions, and phased adoption across operational teams. Ongoing system adaptation followed patterns typical of Mitrefinch deployments in manufacturing, allowing iterative refinement of rostering and exception rules based on operational feedback.
