In 2017 Zolostays deployed Xobin Online Assessment Platform to revamp its hiring process and accelerate talent acquisition across the HR organization. The implementation targeted the Talent Assessment function and centralized assessment workflows previously executed as manual resume screens and lengthy interview rounds.
Xobin Online Assessment Platform was configured to deliver cognitive ability assessments and psychometric tests, including verbal, numerical and logical reasoning batteries, personality profiling and scored evaluation reports. Assessment scoring and role-mapping capabilities were used to objectify decision making, enabling recruiters to filter candidates based on cognitive and behavioral fit for specific job families.
The deployment was scoped to Talent Managers and HR recruitment teams company wide, embedding the Talent Assessment capability into existing hiring workflows rather than named point integrations. The platform served as the primary assessment engine used during screening and shortlisting, providing standardized evaluation artefacts for hiring managers.
Governance changes included standardized assessment use across requisitions and formalized score-based decision rules, while psychometric testing was applied to surface culture fit and behavioral tendencies. The shift resulted in a more structured hiring cadence that helped identify culturally fit employees and supported ongoing employee development through personality and cognitive insights.

In 2021, Zolostays implemented Hotjar on its public website. The deployment used the Hotjar JavaScript snippet for client side instrumentation to capture qualitative web behavior and on-page feedback, aligning this rollout to the Customer Experience category. Implementation targeted session replay capture, heatmaps, funnel analysis, and feedback widgets as primary capabilities of Hotjar.
Configuration focused on page level targeting around listing and booking flows, with sampling and exclusion rules applied for sensitive pages and consent management. Product, UX and marketing teams accessed Hotjar session recordings and heatmap data to investigate user journeys and surface usability issues, supporting conversion optimization and user experience research. Data collection and retention were configured centrally within Hotjar to limit scope and align with site privacy controls.
Operational coverage was the Zolostays public website serving its India audience, instrumented across site templates to ensure consistent event capture. Governance included centralized tagging and retention settings managed by the digital product team, and operational processes for routing qualitative insights into product and marketing planning. The Hotjar implementation provided Zolostays with a qualitative analytics layer within its Customer Experience tooling to inform design and optimization activities.
