Commercianti Indipendenti Associati Retail 13215 $3.4B Italy Di.Tech Di.Tech G&CO Document Management 2016 n/a In 2016 Commercianti Indipendenti Associati implemented Di.Tech G&CO as its Document Management platform. The rollout followed a planned programmatic approach that began in November 2015 and moved to full cooperative document flows on 1 January 2016, with 70 points of sale active for supplier invoices within two months and a service footprint extending to 230 points of sale in the center north network and the cooperative territories of Romagna, Marche, Friuli and Veneto. The Di.Tech G&CO deployment focused on capture and ingestion, automated indexing and protocoling, PDF portal search, and long term digital preservation also known as conservazione sostitutiva. Functional capabilities implemented included invoice capture from paper and email including PEC and PEO, optical code barcode protocoling for univocal document identification, EDI document ingestion for goods receipts, automated accounting posting for cooperative invoices, scheduled archival jobs, and a store level PDF portal for online consultation and research. Integrations were implemented with existing operational systems in the CIA architecture, including the EDI pipeline, Di.Tech SIC Accounting, Di.Tech Open Finance for point of sale accounting, Di.Tech Flex for management control and budget, Di.Tech Analytics for data warehousing, the commercial and logistics center platform WincorMersy, and point of sale systems such as Sailing Aretè Market and XPos, plus workflow handoffs to CCS service company. Operational coverage spans central cooperative offices, five logistics hubs, 14 specialist warehouses and the retail network, with document flows modeled for PdV invoices from direct suppliers, PdV invoices from the cooperative, CEDI EDI goods documents, and passive cycles for services and mail delivered documents. Governance was structured as a process by process rollout, starting from network and point of sale accounting then moving to the distribution center, with each process defined by description of actors, supports and tools, redesigned workflows and evidencing of efficiency and effectiveness elements. Protocol rules and workflow orchestration were applied to capture, routing and archival steps, and two resources were formally repurposed from operational handling to control and oversight tasks to support governance and quality assurance. Explicit operational results documented during the rollout include daily electronic delivery of documents, elimination of document travel between point of sale and central offices, immediate archival at point of sale, and online portal based consultation. The program archived automatically over 500,000 documents per year including DDT and customer invoices, digitized a flow of 30,000 supplier invoices per month for points of sale, reduced routine printing by roughly 6,000 pages per month, and placed January through March 2016 into conservazione sostitutiva.
