Renewi Professional Services 6641 $2.1B United Kingdom IFS IFS Ultimo E-Learning Learning and Development 2024 MaxGrip
In 2024 Renewi implemented IFS Ultimo E-Learning as part of a coordinated Learning and Development initiative to standardize training for technical and maintenance staff supporting its Enterprise Asset Management program. IFS Ultimo E-Learning was deployed across a multi-site footprint in the United Kingdom covering Wakefield, Barnsley Doncaster and Rotherham BDR, Cumbria and East London ELWA, with MaxGrip engaged to run project management and change management for the rollout. During the blueprinting phase the implementation was organized into two primary workstreams, business process design and detailed functional design. Workshops with key users defined uniform maintenance processes to be adopted across all sites, while detailed functional design established configuration requirements, acceptance criteria, and a technical blueprint subject to regular design reviews to ensure viability and alignment with operational needs. The realization and build phase focused on data collection, cleansing and migration, using standardized data collection templates aligned to the functional blueprint, with MaxGrip executing the migration into Ultimo. Configuration and functional setup followed the blueprint and were validated against a predefined test plan, key users conducted functional tests and Renewi site teams performed User Acceptance Testing, and the system build and configuration were documented for ongoing maintenance. Training combined the IFS Ultimo E-Learning platform with on site hands on sessions delivered by certified MaxGrip consultants who remained available for follow up. Go-live and post implementation included formal launch, a hyper care period with on site MaxGrip support providing coaching, Q&A and walk in help, and operational monitoring to stabilize use. The program has completed implementation at two of five sites and retained a six day implementation cadence per site, delivering quick time to value, a strong emphasis on data governance through cleansing and migration, introduction of the mobile Ultimo Go app to boost user engagement, and rapid user adoption that strengthened Renewi UKs data management and operational capability for future scalability.
Victrex Manufacturing 850 $320M United Kingdom IFS IFS Ultimo E-Learning Learning and Development 2023 MaxGrip
In 2023 Victrex implemented IFS Ultimo E-Learning as the learning component of its broader Ultimo Enterprise Asset Management program, aligning the application with its Learning and Development strategy for maintenance and engineering staff. The deployment formed part of a Maintenance Excellence Program delivered with MaxGrip, and the IFS Ultimo E-Learning deployment was explicitly used to prepare key users ahead of on-site role based training and system cutover activities. The implementation followed a blueprint driven build phase where MaxGrip configured core EAM capabilities defined in workshops, including Asset Management, Master Data Management, Work Order Management, Preventive Maintenance, Stock and Purchase Management, Mobile Usage and Reporting. Master data sheets were prepared by Victrex and converted and imported into Ultimo by MaxGrip, and the configuration was adjusted iteratively during the Build and Realisation phase to reflect agreed business processes and a common data taxonomy. Integrations were implemented to connect Ultimo with procurement workflows, enabling end to end stock and purchase management to be orchestrated from the EAM system, and reporting and dashboard functionality was provisioned to surface asset performance and maintenance metrics. Operational coverage included all five Victrex UK sites with a site in China scheduled to follow, and the solution impacted maintenance, engineering and procurement functions across those sites while enabling mobile field usage for work execution and inventory operations. Governance and rollout combined MaxGrip led Asset Improvement Mapping, multidisciplinary workshops, a formal User Acceptance Test phase and a Stabilise phase with configuration tuning and aftercare. Victrex used IFS Ultimo E-Learning for structured key user preparation followed by tailored on site training delivered by MaxGrip, supporting user adoption and ongoing support. Outcomes reported in the program narrative include enhanced decision making through dashboards, increased operational efficiency, standardisation across sites, stronger user adoption and support for Victrexs Maintenance Excellence objectives, including reduced waste and energy usage and improved reliability.
