Richard Crookes Construction Construction and Real Estate 900 $1.1B Australia WebVine Injio Digital Workplace Digital Workspace 2023 n/a
In 2023 Richard Crookes Construction deployed the Injio Digital Workplace as a Microsoft SharePoint modern intranet to serve its multi-site operations across NSW, Queensland and the ACT, addressing the needs of a substantial outdoor workforce. The implementation was positioned as a Digital Workspace to centralize communications, knowledge and access to tools, with WebVine leading the Injio intranet design and delivery. The Injio Digital Workplace implementation combined communications, staff engagement, a structured knowledge base and quick access to priority platforms and tools. The solution organized content into seven major topic areas using distinctive colour coding, delivered targeted news and announcements, rapid alerts for standards and regulations, detailed content libraries for policies and templates, a new employee onboarding hub with activity checklists, and a How To’s section for project management and internal processes. Architecturally the intranet is built on Microsoft SharePoint and leverages Microsoft Teams and Active Directory integration to provide a single reference point for contacts and access, with Yammer used for peer to peer social engagement. An integration with Dynamics 365 was implemented to surface on-site worksite details including location, project manager and safety information for mobile and on-site workers, and the people directory is queryable by project, division or department to serve as a single source of truth. Governance and rollout included close stakeholder assessment across company areas, metadata-driven content classification, and streamlined content creation, approval and publishing workflows to ensure relevant distribution. The launch included hundreds of published pages and a video introduction, and reported outcomes included a unified interactive communication channel, time savings on site via the Dynamics 365 integration, and positive user feedback such as Amazing, Phenomenal, So easy to use and Found what I was looking for first go.
