Score, a D2Zero Company | Professional Services | 2000 | $900M | United Kingdom | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance | Time and Attendance | 2017 | n/a | In 2017, Score implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance. The deployment was positioned within Score's broader cloud-first trajectory, leveraging Azure alongside existing on-premises virtual infrastructure, and targeted the company’s global ERP footprint that spans approximately 15 to 20 operating companies. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance configuration work emphasized core Time and Attendance capabilities, including time capture, scheduling, and payroll interfacing typical of the Time and Attendance category. Implementation and configuration drew on internal expertise developed while managing Time & Attendance and Payroll functionality in Dynamics AX 2012 R3, with the internal App Support & Systems Development team responsible for security role development and solution configuration. Data migration and reporting integrations were explicit elements of the program, using Atlas (Globe Software) for migration pipelines and custom SQL and .NET extraction utilities to extract and manipulate payroll and time data. The team produced SSRS reports and custom SQL views to operationalize time reporting, and the implementation coexisted with endpoint management tooling such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager and the company’s Azure services. Governance and rollout were managed by Score’s internal App Support and Systems Development function, which maintained documentation created with Bottomline Transform, managed 3rd line escalations for service desk teams, and operationalized security roles and data flows for HR and payroll business functions. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance served as the centralized Time and Attendance system for HR and payroll across Score’s global sites. | |

Welsh Government | Government | 6142 | $33.3B | United Kingdom | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance | Time and Attendance | 2023 | n/a | In 2023, Welsh Government implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance. Careers Wales, the wholly owned subsidiary trading as Gyrfa Cymru Careers Wales and employing nearly 600 staff across delivery and corporate functions, operates its HR system known as Pobl on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, which was migrated to Finance & Operations in August 2023. The original partner developer entered administration in early 2023 leaving gaps in deliverables and documentation, and a Unified Support contract with Microsoft was signed in June 2023 to prioritise data and reporting remediation. The engagement for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance focused on a basic review of current system configuration, processes and data structures, and the creation of new managed environments for testing, development and production. Functional scope for the Time and Attendance deployment included time capture and scheduling capabilities and integration of absence management with the HR record set, aligned with standard Time and Attendance workflows for workforce time tracking and reporting. The project scope explicitly included migration of existing HR data into the new environments and evaluation of data and reporting accuracy. Integrations were anchored to the existing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations HR dataset known as Pobl and to the Power BI reporting layer, with internal development teams supported by Microsoft during the migration and remediation activities. Operational coverage targeted Careers Wales employee records and absence management processes, with the aim of producing a single authoritative HR dataset for business reporting. Governance and procurement detail was explicit in the tender, bidders may submit responses in Welsh and submissions in Welsh will be treated no less favourably than those in English with identical closing dates. Ongoing Unified Support engagements were used to surface configuration gaps and data quality issues, and the stated objectives included reviewing configuration, creating managed environments, migrating HR data, evaluating reporting accuracy and delivering a complete and accurate HR dataset. Despite the migration and support interventions, significant data inaccuracies and gaps remained in the HR system following the August 2023 migration, which the current engagement is scoped to resolve through controlled environment builds, targeted data migration and report validation for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Time and Attendance implementation in the Time and Attendance category. |
