In 2018 OMP implemented NICIM MES as its Manufacturing Execution System to formalize production planning and shop floor control at O.M.P. Officine Mazzocco Pagnoni S.r.l. The initial scope covered production planning for BMW automatic lines, manual assembly lines, and aftermarket operations at the Bologna site, with operational ownership centered in the production planning function.
NICIM MES was configured to support core MES workflows including work order scheduling for production resources, monitoring and tracking orders against planned schedules, control of documentation attached to production orders, and reporting and requirements management.
