In 2023 Calpeda Italy implemented Panda Endpoint Security. In 2016 ENGIM Piedmont implemented Panda Endpoint Security and designated the deployment under the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) category to strengthen endpoint controls across its Turin, Italy operations. The rollout began in September 2016 and remains current, with responsibility assigned to ICT MANAGERS - SYSTEMS ENGINEER PIEDMONT ETS ENGIM and the network infrastructure maintenance and development team.
Panda Endpoint Security was provisioned as the primary system antivirus and endpoint protection platform, configured to provide real time endpoint monitoring, threat detection, and response capabilities aligned with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) functional expectations. The implementation was integrated into existing perimeter and endpoint security processes to operate alongside firewall rules and host based controls.
