The implementation combined Sitecore OrderCloud with Sitecore XM Cloud for content authoring, Sitecore Content Hub Operations for collaborative content workflows, and Sitecore Content Hub DAM for centralized asset governance. Sitecore Discover was integrated to provide AI powered personalization for search, merchandising, and product recommendations, while front end hosting on Vercel delivered a decoupled presentation layer. Sitecore OrderCloud served as the headless commerce API layer, supporting product catalog, cart and checkout orchestration, and order management patterns typical for eCommerce platforms.
Horizon Digital delivered the implementation, orchestrating the composable architecture and integrations between commerce, content, and DAM systems. Operational coverage included digital merchandising, marketing content operations, and commerce operations, aligning content authoring, asset lifecycle, and commerce catalogs under a single platform. The headless architecture and cloud hosting were selected to improve availability and to better absorb traffic peaks while simplifying front end deployment workflows.
Governance was instituted through centralized asset control in Content Hub DAM and collaborative content processes managed in Content Hub Operations, which restructured content production and publication workflows for marketing and merchandising teams. Explicit outcomes noted by the project include increased conversions and sales, higher operational efficiency, improved site performance, and greater customer satisfaction, along with reduced maintenance effort and enhanced security from adopting up to date Sitecore technologies.
