Belkin International Manufacturing 1200 $480M United States Oracle Oracle E-Business Suite Order Management Order Management 2012 n/a In 2012 Belkin International implemented Oracle E-Business Suite Order Management as part of an Oracle E-Business Suite Applications 11.5.10 rollout to extend operations to an Australia book of business. The deployment centered on Order Management within the broader Order Management category and was executed alongside core supply chain modules to enable cross functional transaction flow across purchasing, inventory and order processing. Configuration work included activation and setup of INV, PO, OM, CST, QP, AP, AR and GL modules, with detailed configuration of Order Management transaction types, order line types and RMA types. The implementation delivered item master and inventory structures through new item templates, subinventories, locators and item categories, and established standard price lists and transfer price lists used for intercompany transfer. Data conversion and integration work focused on mapping and migrating Item, Customer item, Item reference, BOM, Customers, Vendors and Item cost records into Oracle E-Business Suite Order Management and related modules. The project provisioned OM PO and INV responsibilities for the new operating unit and set up purchasing receiving and financial options to support Procure to Pay, followed by end to end process testing of the Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles. Governance and workflow changes were formalized inside the Order Management implementation, including customization of sales order workflow and implementation of various kinds of order holds utilizing credit check. Implementation of holds using Oracle workflow was used to ensure greater control over order modification, and the deployment included shipping network design, shipment methods, document sets, picking methods and pick slip grouping to align operational control for supply chain logistics and finance in the Australia operating unit.
