The project provisioned OM PO and INV responsibilities for the new operating unit and set up purchasing receiving and financial options to support Procure to Pay, followed by end to end process testing of the Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles. Governance and workflow changes were formalized inside the Order Management implementation, including customization of sales order workflow and implementation of various kinds of order holds utilizing credit check. Implementation of holds using Oracle workflow was used to ensure greater control over order modification, and the deployment included shipping network design, shipment methods, document sets, picking methods and pick slip grouping to align operational control for supply chain logistics and finance in the Australia operating unit.
