Armor Concepts | Manufacturing | 90 | $12M | United States | Odoo | Odoo Inventory | Inventory Management | 2022 | Brainvire Infotech | In 2022, Armor Concepts implemented Odoo Inventory as part of an upgrade to Odoo 14 delivered by Brainvire Infotech, with the solution hosted on Odoo.sh. The deployment centralized inventory controls for the United States based security door supplier, supporting approximately 15 active Odoo users within a company of about 90 employees and covering both B2B and B2C sales channels. Armor Concepts implemented Odoo Inventory in the Inventory Management category to manage warehousing, stock synchronization, and order fulfillment across its eCommerce and marketplace operations. The implementation combined core Odoo modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Subscription, and eCommerce, with additional apps such as Amazon Connector, Affiliate Management, Klaviyo integration, and payment gateways PayPal and Stripe. Configuration work focused on multi-store eCommerce capabilities with separate themes, languages, currencies, and pricelists, product variants and advanced pricelists, bespoke web forms and snippets, wishlist and simplified checkout flows, and shipping method configuration tied into automated delivery charge calculation. Odoo Inventory was configured for dynamic stock synchronization, FBA stock adjustment, automated and manual reconciliation APIs, and dashboard reporting for KPIs such as conversion, best sellers, and average cart amount. Integrations implemented during the project included the Amazon Connector to synchronize orders and manage FBA workflows, a RingCentral integration to capture telephony and messaging records, and Google Merchant Centre connectivity for product listings. The Amazon integration populated orders into Odoo, allowed transmission of shipment and tracking data back to Amazon, and synchronized product listings and inventory levels across channels. Reconciliation functionality was implemented to automate payment pairing, and Odoo paired over 95% of payments automatically with an intelligent app assisting the balance. Governance and rollout were led by Brainvire Infotech over a four month implementation timeline, which included a full data migration of the prior year dataset and code migration to Odoo 14. Brainvire remedied prior code quality issues by restructuring and optimizing customizations to align with Odoo standards, and delivered process guidelines for onboarding, checkout, and order processing to operational teams. Training, dashboard configuration, and custom reporting templates were provided to support sales, inventory, and finance teams across the organization. Outcomes documented in the engagement included resolution of prior system bugs and instability, completed data and code migrations, and delivery of customizable dashboards and reporting for sales and inventory analysis. Armor Concepts reported satisfaction with the Odoo enterprise backend and intends to maintain a long term collaboration with Brainvire for ongoing Odoo operations and enhancements. | |
