The program onboarded more than 30 trading partners via EDI and aligned Order Management with a unified eCommerce strategy that connected 15 Shopify stores to multiple ERPs, enabling coordinated fulfillment handoffs between WMS, inventory and financial ledgers. Governance was led by a Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture who served as solution architect, technical architect, applications manager and PMO, and who coordinated workstreams across Integration, ERP, MES, CRM, Ecommerce, Customer Portal and EDI. Governance activities included data migration planning, SOW review, CER submission, project segmentation and interdependency management. The broader Oracle Cloud ERP greenfield initiative that included Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management delivered an annual ROI of $2.5 million. | |

Governance and process work streams created during rollout include establishment of standard processes for buffer changes, ongoing data validation and root cause analysis for excess inventory, and development and automation of reports to troubleshoot and support decision making. The Orchestr8 Demand Planning System is positioned to enable consistent cross functional decision support, including recommendations on service performance, inventory levels, and premium cost trade offs to achieve target stock levels. | |
