Founded in 2010, APPS RUN THE WORLD is a leading technology intelligence and market-research company devoted to the application space. Leveraging a rigorous data-centric research methodology, we ask the simple B2B sales intelligence question: Who’s buying enterprise applications from whom and why?
Our global team of 50 researchers has been studying the digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by 2 million + companies including technographic segmentation of 10 million ERP, EPM, CRM, HCM, Procurement, SCM, Treasury software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions and perhaps the rise and fall of certain vendors and their products on a quarterly basis.
Apps Run The World Buyer Insight and Technographics Customer Database has over 100 data fields that detail company usage of emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database, and different on-prem and cloud apps by function, customer size (employees, revenues), industry, country, implementation status, year deal won, partner involvement, Line of Business Key Stakeholders and key decision-makers contact details, including the systems being used by Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies.

True Value Company | Retail | 2800 | $1.5B | United States | LogiNext Solutions | LogiNext Mile | Real-Time Transportation Visibility | 2017 | n/a | In 2017 True Value Company deployed LogiNext Mile, a Real-Time Transportation Visibility application to centralize operational control of its Midwest distribution network. The implementation targeted daily management of three Ryder 3PL operations and private fleet outbound deliveries across True Value distribution centers in Harvard, IL, Mankato, MN and Kansas City, establishing a single platform for shipment visibility and operational orchestration. LogiNext Mile was configured to support route optimization, real time ETA tracking, dispatch coordination and exception management consistent with Real-Time Transportation Visibility capabilities. The deployment emphasized configurable KPI dashboards and automated route sequencing to align with existing route optimization responsibilities, while preserving site level operational controls for each distribution center. Project work included direct coordination with the Ryder Share truck app and execution of the True Value Fuel strategy alongside the TMS start up of LogiNext Mile, ensuring the visibility layer was synchronized with third party carrier activities. Operational coverage explicitly encompassed three Midwest RDCs and the hub and spoke transportation start up connecting those sites, supporting carrier management and outbound private fleet workflows across the network. Governance changes accompanied the technical rollout, with True Value teams maintaining site specific P and L accountability, monthly forecasting and contract compliance oversight for Ryder 3PL services. Ongoing management duties included Ryder 3PL KPI metrics and service requirement enforcement, embedding LogiNext Mile into existing forecasting, compliance and route optimization processes.

Domino's | Retail | 10700 | $4.7B | United States | LogiNext Solutions | LogiNext Mile | Real-Time Transportation Visibility | 2019 | n/a | In 2019 Domino's implemented LogiNext Mile for Real-Time Transportation Visibility to instrument and operationalize delivery execution across its U.S. store footprint. LogiNext Mile was deployed to provide continuous location telemetry and delivery orchestration for last mile delivery, aligning the application with Domino's core delivery operations and store dispatch workflows. The LogiNext Mile implementation centered on standard Real-Time Transportation Visibility functional modules, including vehicle and courier real-time tracking, ETA calculation and delivery sequencing, driver mobile client for proof of delivery and task management, exception and delay handling, and operational dashboards for dispatch and operations managers. Configuration work emphasized route orchestration rules, delivery window management, and event-driven alerts to support store-level dispatch decision making. Architecturally the deployment followed a cloud-first SaaS pattern with mobile agent clients for drivers and centralized dashboards for operations, using APIs for order ingestion and event publication to downstream reporting systems. Governance included role-based access for store managers, regional operations and centralized analytics, and a phased pilot-to-rollout approach across store clusters to validate configuration and operational procedures before broader activation.
