Electricity Supply Industry Superannuation (Qld) Ltd | Banking and Financial Services | 100 | $10M | Australia | Deloitte | Deloitte Halo | Whistleblowing Management | 2019 | n/a | In 2019, Electricity Supply Industry Superannuation (Qld) Ltd implemented Deloitte Halo as its External Whistleblower Service under the Whistleblowing Management category. The External Whistleblower Service is provided by Deloitte’s Halo Whistleblower Service and is reachable via https://australia.deloitte-halo.com/energysuper, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week to capture reports from individuals who are not comfortable reporting internally or who wish to retain anonymity. The deployment provides discrete disclosure-level controls within Deloitte Halo, offering three structured identity options for reporters, completely anonymous, confidential restricted, and confidential, each governing whether the reporter’s personal details are shared with the ESI Group or only held by Deloitte. The service functions as an independent intermediary, enabling the ESI Group to receive further information from reporters where permitted and allowing reporters to receive status updates from the ESI Group through the platform. Operationally the External Whistleblower Service is integrated into ESI Group governance workflows, the service routes incoming reports to the nominated Whistleblower Protection Officer in accordance with the ESI Group policy. When a report pertains to a WPO, the service excludes that WPO from communications and routes the matter to the alternate officer, and when both WPOs are implicated the service refers the report directly to the Whistleblower Investigation Officer, preserving internal segregation of duties during intake. Policy and process changes established mandatory intake procedures, any person who receives a report of reportable conduct must immediately log it through the External Whistleblower Service so Deloitte Halo can generate the official disclosure record and notify the appropriate internal officer. The configuration emphasizes anonymity-preserving intake, controlled disclosure to ESI Group investigators, and an audit trail for follow up, with continuous availability as a stated operational benefit.

Senex Energy | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 250 | $150M | Australia | Deloitte | Deloitte Halo | Whistleblowing Management | 2020 | n/a | In 2020, Senex Energy engaged Deloitte to provision Deloitte Halo for Whistleblowing Management. The engagement established an independent intake channel governed under the Senex Energy Whistleblower Policy, with the Deloitte Whistleblower service accessible via a Deloitte-hosted link and contact points published by the company. Deloitte Halo was configured to provide secure intake, anonymous reporting options, and structured case management workflows, including evidence capture, investigator assignment, and immutable audit trails. Configuration centered on role based access controls and retention settings that align with Senex corporate governance requirements. The service operates as an externally managed intake and case management layer for Senex Energy, covering employee and stakeholder reporting across the organization in Australia. Implementation positioned Deloitte Halo to produce structured case records for Senex compliance and legal review processes, preserving separation between intake and internal investigation functions. Governance changes were formalized in the published Whistleblower Policy, documenting the independent intake route, confidentiality protections, and escalation protocols between Deloitte Halo operators and Senex compliance and legal teams. Operational ownership of investigations remains with Senex compliance and legal, while Deloitte Halo provides the independent intake and case tracking capability.
