Operational coverage extended across production halls toolroom warehouse purchasing sales finance HR and quality functions, with data entered in real time at the point of origin to replace numerous stand alone programs. The implementation united manufacturing and maintenance records so that production cell activity and real manufacturing costs are captured directly in the system, and warehouse and distribution processes were managed through the IFS Distribution module. The project followed a two stage delivery model with an initial analysis and solution design phase followed by implementation and a period of technical assistance after production start up. InfoConsulting led the deployment in collaboration with a prepared management team and operational staff, enabling adherence to schedule and prompt completion of core rollout activities. Explicit outcomes reported after the rollout include process streamlining, centralized and real time business data access, improved manufacturing planning, full product traceability, enhanced project and quality management, better warehouse management and more effective cost control. The IFS Manufacturing Execution System sits within the broader IFS application landscape, providing traceability for forged parts and linking toolroom records to planning and regeneration workflows. The project ran in two phases, a solution analysis phase followed by implementation and a period of technical assistance after production start up, with project governance driven by prepared management and staff together with InfoConsulting. Workflow mechanisms with defined confirmation paths were introduced to standardize process execution and to support operational approvals across production and quality functions.
