Cape Fear Public Utility Authority | Professional Services | 300 | $111M | United States | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | 2017 | Itineris | In 2017, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment consolidated core business functions including customer service and billing, financials, and HR onto a unified Dynamics 365 environment running in the cloud. The Authority deployed Itineris UMAX CIS built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 to deliver comprehensive customer information and service capabilities. UMAX CIS provides customer care and billing workflows, common data model alignment with financials and HR, and expanded reporting and business intelligence capabilities through the Dynamics 365 application stack. The architecture is cloud first, hosted on Microsoft Azure and designed to work with the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including Office 365 and PowerBI for analytics and productivity integration. Itineris was selected through a formal request for proposals and delivered the UMAX CIS ERP solution to meet objectives of improved internal user and external customer service and to provide a technical foundation for long term effectiveness and efficiency. Explicitly stated benefits include enhanced customer engagement across devices and channels, increased operational efficiency through non siloed applications with a common data model, streamlined maintenance and support in the cloud, greater data security, and new reporting and business intelligence capabilities for Authority staff. | |
