Integration architecture placed Datex FootPrint WMS behind Boomi-managed interfaces that synchronize transactional and master data with Oracle and Azure databases, Snowflake data warehouse, Sage ERP financials, UKG HR for labor data, Kafka event streaming for real-time messaging, and E2open for supply chain orchestration. Boomi handled B2B/EDI management, API endpoints, file-based exchanges and workflow automation, creating a standardized integration surface for trading partners and internal systems while supplying operational data into analytics and customer portals. Governance emphasized API-driven data models, standardized onboarding and monitoring through the Boomi platform to accelerate partner and site integration. The Datex FootPrint WMS implementation formed part of a global rollout supporting Crane’s footprint across 130 locations in 30 countries, and as part of the Boomi-powered ecosystem Crane reported operational outcomes including faster partner onboarding and the case study level benefits documented for the integrated platform. | |
