The initial deployment included Finance, OPM, Order Management, Purchase and Inventory modules on Oracle12, while PeopleSoft was retained for HR functionality, creating a multi-application operational footprint across finance, procurement, order-to-cash and inventory management processes. Oracle E-Business Suite Purchasing was configured alongside Inventory and Purchase modules to support procure-to-pay workflows, supplier master data pumping, and transactional purchasing operations. A follow-on program targeted Oracle12.1.3 eAM for asset lifecycle management, with core activities defined as data collection, master data load processes, end-to-end eAM cycle testing, end-user training, go-live and post-go-live support. A core implementation team was formed to govern configuration, testing and rollout, the author served on that core team and participated in functional validation and training design. Operational coverage focused on procurement, inventory and maintenance functions and preserved PeopleSoft for HR, maintaining separation of HR and ERP transaction domains. Enterprise Asset Management eAM was successfully implemented on the Oracle EBS system at Atul Limited on 13-May-2014 and is reported to be working excellently. The program documentation and governance emphasized staged master data pumping and comprehensive cycle testing, and the organization has retained experienced resources including personnel who remain available for consultancy on Oracle12i eAM Purchase Inventory modules.
