Explicit functional capabilities delivered include balancing reports for GL intercompany accounts and reconciliation of the A R file to GL, a Consolidated Pick ticket procedure for warehouse picking efficiency, enhancements to telemarketing order entry and email distribution to showrooms, and support for Symbol barcode scanners to process product returns. The environment was upgraded to VAI Release 5.0 using the GUI and an automated routine was created to convert files for each release. Operational integrations and platform changes were part of the rollout, including contributing to a VAI Point of Sale rollout to over 80 showrooms that provisioned two servers per showroom along with registers and sign in computers. Platform migrations included converting VAI software and users from IBM Power 7 to IBM Power 9 servers, and ongoing support patterns were extended to remote locations using the S2K ERP footprint. Governance and support were formalized through a seven day a week help desk maintained by a four person team, providing continuous application and operations support for showrooms, warehouses, and office locations. Phantom Fireworks maintained advisory engagement with the VAI product team through membership in the VAI Advisory Council, aligning product changes with operational needs. Phantom Fireworks VAI S2K Warehouse Warehouse Management implementation therefore spans warehouse operations, finance reconciliation, telemarketing order processing, returns processing, and point of sale infrastructure, with engineered upgrade and automation work to sustain release migrations and multi‑site operations.
