Aerospacelab | Aerospace and Defense | 269 | $40M | Belgium | Odoo | Odoo Inventory | Inventory Management | 2025 | n/a | In 2025 Aerospacelab implemented Odoo Inventory as its Inventory Management solution. The deployment was hosted on Odoo.sh and formed part of a broader modular Odoo estate that already included Accounting, Purchase, Approvals, Manufacturing, CRM and Quality, among other applications, to support manufacturing and satellite production across factories and offices in Belgium, France, Switzerland and the United States. The Odoo Inventory implementation focused on core inventory controls and process automation aligned with manufacturing workflows and subcontracting. Configuration work prioritized multi-site stock visibility across three factories, stock movement orchestration to support production runs of up to 600 satellites per year, and traceability workflows to capture serial and lot information through manufacturing and quality inspections. Inventory business rules were aligned with manufacturing bills of materials and procurement flows to enable automated replenishment and kitting tied to Manufacturing orders. Odoo Inventory was integrated with the companys Purchase, Manufacturing, Quality, Accounting, Maintenance, Project and CRM applications to unify vendor coordination, incoming inspection, cost capture and project-level inventory consumption. The rollout followed a phased approach already used by Aerospacelab, starting with foundational modules including Inventory and Manufacturing, limiting access to a subset of employees for initial validation, then extending access as processes stabilized. Cross-functional integrations supported procurement approvals, helpdesk issue tracking for part shortages, and timesheet-linked project tracking for inventory usage. Governance and adoption were driven by an internal in-house business analyst and developer team using an agile release cadence, continuous documentation and staged training sessions. Permission models were refined team by team to balance security and usability, and change management emphasized iterative refinement of workflows rather than big-bang cutovers. Reported outcomes from the internal program included centralized operations and improved product traceability, reduced training complexity through a unified platform, enhanced helpdesk responsiveness for supply issues, and scalable inventory operations aligned with Aerospacelabs rapid growth.

Aerospacelab | Aerospace and Defense | 269 | $40M | Belgium | Odoo | Odoo CRM | CRM | 2025 | n/a | In 2025, Aerospacelab implemented Odoo CRM as its CRM to standardize customer, lead, and opportunity management across its rapidly expanding satellite manufacturing and services business. The deployment was driven by the need to centralize customer relationship workflows while Odoo served as the modular backbone for broader operational consolidation. Odoo CRM was configured as part of a phased Odoo rollout that began with foundational modules including Accounting, Purchase, Approvals, Inventory, and Manufacturing. The internal implementation team focused on installing standard modules, integrating existing data, and developing small complementary features before progressing to deeper process-oriented changes, using iterative enhancements to refine sales stages, lead scoring workflows, and opportunity tracking. The tenant is hosted on Odoo.sh and the operational scope extends across Aerospacelab factories and offices in Belgium, France, Switzerland, and the United States. The CRM sits alongside a broad application footprint that includes Quality, Maintenance, Time Off, Expenses, Helpdesk, Sales, Planning, Sign, Appraisals, Recruitment, Fleet, CMS, Project, and Timesheets, enabling cross-functional data flows between commercial, manufacturing, project, and HR functions. Implementation governance was retained in-house with a dedicated business analyst and developer team, adopting an agile rollout and continuous internal documentation to accelerate adoption. Access permissions were defined team by team to balance security and usability, initial access was limited to a subset of users during foundation consolidation, and training sessions were organized to support onboarding as CRM and other modules were extended to the wider employee population. Explicit outcomes reported include centralization of business operations into a single platform, streamlined cross-departmental processes, improved product traceability and quality management, faster helpdesk responsiveness, simplified website management via the CMS, reduced training complexity through unified tooling, and consolidated HR workflows for timesheets, leave, appraisals, and expenses, all supporting Aerospacelab’s continued scalability.
