Hyresbostader | Construction and Real Estate | 200 | $25M | Sweden | Aareon | Aareon Momentum Property | Real Estate Property Management | 2003 | n/a | In 2003 Hyresbostäder implemented Aareon Momentum Property as its Real Estate Property Management application. The organization, Hyresbostäder i Norrköping, supports about 10,000 apartments and 200 employees and has relied on Momentum for over two decades while continuing to evolve integration and deployment patterns. Earlier this year Hyresbostäder adopted a cloud-based deployment of Aareon Momentum Property that exposed Product Integrate and a new GraphQL API, positioning the application as the central Real Estate Property Management platform for operational data and integrations. The cloud environment replaced an on-premise setup that had direct database access but lacked modern API options, enabling controlled API access patterns and remote integration endpoints. Functionally the implementation centers on Momentum Fastighet capabilities delivered through Product Integrate, with GraphQL used for flexible data queries, improved filtering, and a testable interface prior to production calls. Hyresbostäder extracted the system data to build an internal data warehouse, and uses Aareon Momentum Property data for BI reporting, integration workflows, and operational tasks such as updating names on digital stairwell boards. Operational rollout was run as a pilot with Hyresbostäder acting as an early adopter of GraphQL for rental housing integrations, with IT application specialist Jonathan Frost leading integration design and testing. The program emphasized API-driven governance, staged testing through the GraphQL interface, and the creation of internal data staging to reflect the authoritative records housed in Aareon Momentum Property. Explicit outcomes cited by Hyresbostäder include gaining tighter control of their data, access to more granular filtering than with REST APIs, and a less resource-intensive integration approach enabled by GraphQL. The Aareon Momentum Property implementation therefore supports IT, BI, tenant administration, and facilities workflows within Hyresbostäder while serving as a pilot case for GraphQL-based integrations in the Real Estate Property Management category. | |
