Axians configured Exact Synergy to automate core HR lifecycle modules, with onboarding, job changes and offboarding processes reported as 95 percent automated. A new rights structure and visible workflow user flows were implemented so managers can inspect cross-border workflows, and a flexible data layer was built to require different information fields per country while retaining a single process backbone.
The implementation included linking Exact Synergy to other systems to enable unambiguous data exchange, and the work created a pathway to link Synergy to a future global HR system. The user flow and HR workflow model were rolled out to eleven countries covering approximately 8,000 employees, reflecting multi-country operational coverage and the need for consistent data transfer and documentation across sites.
Governance and rollout were managed in collaboration with Axians, with project delays attributed to consultant turnover and internal staffing changes, and a lengthy, ongoing cooperation noted. The deployment delivered stronger documentation of HR processes, increased internal self-service for configuration and process changes, and, according to the client, reduced reliance on external consultancy while improving insight into HR workflows.
