In 2016 Fundamenta-Lakáskassza Zrt. implemented MoonSol as its Core Banking application. The deployment replaced Temenos T24 and was delivered by vendor Online Business Technologies Co with systems integration and implementation oversight from KPMG, while a project manager labelled WÜST led the data migration effort.
The MoonSol implementation focused on standard core banking capabilities, including account and deposit management, loan servicing, payment processing, general ledger posting, customer master and transaction processing, interest and fee calculation, and regulatory reporting. Configuration work emphasized product catalog setup, transaction workflow rules, batch and real time posting routines, and operational reconciliation workflows consistent with Core Banking functional patterns.
Integrations were scoped to connect MoonSol into the bank operational stack, encompassing branch and back office interfaces, payment rails and settlement interfaces, accounting and general ledger handoffs, and reporting feeds for compliance and regulatory filing. Data migration and conversion of customer, account and transaction histories was a central project stream, executed under the WÜST project manager role and validated through iterative reconciliation phases.
Governance incorporated KPMG oversight for implementation controls, a structured cutover and migration plan, and data governance checkpoints to certify migrated records before go live. Operational rollout emphasized staged validation and procedural changes in back office processing, with the vendor providing system configuration and ongoing application support for the new MoonSol Core Banking environment.
