Retail | 50 | $15M | United States | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | 2020 | In 2020, Crews Enterprises/ Airport Retail Management implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its ERP Financial system. The initiative migrated the company from an on-premises Microsoft Dynamics NAV deployment to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the Cloud to integrate sales, service, finance and operations functions across its airport retail and food and beverage operations. Columbus was selected as the Technology Partner of Choice to carry out the migration, and executed the partner-led migration engagement with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the target platform. Implementation work centered on core ERP Financial capabilities consistent with the category, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, order management and inventory controls, configured to support retail and food and beverage workflows. The deployment was structured as a cloud-hosted Business Central environment provided by Microsoft, with data and transactional consolidation planned to unify sales, service, finance and operations records previously held in Dynamics NAV. Operational scope targeted Crews Enterprises/ ARM airport retail sites and corporate finance and operations functions based at the company headquarters in Atlanta, United States. Governance and execution were led by Columbus, which managed the migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the Business Central configuration work to align finance and operations workflows. The engagement emphasized partner-led implementation governance and configuration to secure continuity of retail financial processes while shifting to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the Cloud. | |
