Professional Services | 600 | $150M | United States | Dassault Systemes | Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE Platform | Project Portfolio Management | 2019 | In 2019, Electroimpact implemented the Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE Platform as a Project Portfolio Management solution. The deployment was positioned to work alongside the company’s existing PLM footprint, which includes Keytech and 3DEXPERIENCE, to address fragmented product structure visibility and project portfolio coordination. The implementation configured product structure and bill of materials management capabilities within the Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and deployed project portfolio modules to track interdependent project tasks, schedules, and resource allocations. Configuration emphasized BOM hierarchy modeling, version control and change workflows, and automation templates to convert PLM records into project planning artefacts consistent with project-driven delivery. Columbus acted as the SI/VAR to deliver integration work tying the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform into Electroimpact’s ERP and to align Keytech records. Integration work focused on data exchange design and mapping to move structured product information and BOM hierarchies into the ERP, addressing prior constraints where only single-product transfers were possible and planners had to manually scan PLM data. The implementation targeted engineering, supply chain planning, and project management functions to create a consistent authoritative data source across interdependent systems. Governance and process changes accompanied the technical work, with standardized data definitions, change control checkpoints, and phased rollouts aligned to product families and projects. Training and workflow reconfiguration emphasized automated transfer points from PLM into ERP and tighter portfolio governance to reduce manual data handling and clarify product structure for downstream planning and procurement. | |
