Payless Decor | Retail | 30 | $4M | United States | Odoo | Odoo Sales | Sales Automation,Sales Engagement | 2020 |
In 2020, Payless Decor implemented Odoo Sales to address multi-channel order consolidation and configurator-driven sales workflows. The engagement led by Emipro used an on-site Enterprise hosting model and targeted Sales Automation,Sales Engagement use cases across Payless Decor’s B2B and B2C storefronts and marketplace channels.
The implementation deployed a suite of Odoo Applications including Sales, Invoicing, Inventory, Purchase, Studio, Tax based on Python Code Formula, Discuss, Contacts, Dashboards, Barcode, and Documents. Emipro configured a custom Fabric Minimal Wastage mechanism and front-end validation to limit customer-entered dimensions, and extended product pages with swatches and configurator options such as inside or outside mounting, width and height selection, reverse roll, room label, color, controls, and hem bar to improve product selection and reduce manual rework.
Integrations were implemented using connectors to consolidate orders and inventory across Amazon Direct Fulfillment FBA, Amazon Vendor Central FBM, Walmart, Magento, Overstock, Shopify, Wayfair, CommerceHub and QuickBooks, with Shipwork used to handle shipping tracking and shipment data flows. Order orchestration routed channel orders into Odoo, exported shipping events to Shipwork, and synchronized fulfillment and inventory back to channel storefronts, while inventory exports to Magento and central inventory management handled configurable product variants.
Governance and operational controls included admin-configurable dimension limits, backend enforcement of the Fabric Minimal Wastage algorithm that runs without exposing restrictions to customers, and standardized export rules for stock and order status to maintain consistency across channels. Emipro led a four month implementation timeline and consolidated channel order handling into Odoo Sales with centralized inventory and order validation to reduce manual coordination between warehouse and sales teams.
Payless Decor reported improved sales channel integration, better stock management for configurable products, reduced fabric wastage through the Fabric Minimal Wastage mechanism, and a more user-friendly product browsing experience via swatches and filters. The engagement replaced Shipworks and QuickBooks as part of the ERP consolidation and delivered measurable improvements in order management, warehouse efficiency, and customer satisfaction as described by the client.

Payless Decor | Retail | 30 | $4M | United States | Odoo | Odoo Inventory | Inventory Management | 2020 |
In 2020, Payless Decor implemented Odoo Inventory as their Inventory Management application with Emipro delivering an on site Enterprise deployment during a four month implementation. The scope targeted core retail operations for curtains and window treatments, consolidating inventory, sales order orchestration, invoicing and purchase functions across B2B and B2C channels. The implementation addressed product configuration complexity and fabric usage constraints specific to custom sized goods.
Odoo Inventory was deployed alongside Odoo Sales, Invoicing, Purchase, Studio, Tax based on Python Code Formula, Discuss, Contacts, Dashboards, Barcode and Documents to create a unified transactional and warehouse management stack. Emipro developed a Fabric Minimal Wastage mechanism and integrated front end validation that limits customer entered dimensions while exposing admin controls for minimum dimensions, accessory selections and fabric choices. Product page enhancements included color swatches and configuration controls to improve selection and to drive consistent configured SKUs into Odoo Inventory.
Integrations were implemented using channel connectors to consolidate orders from eleven sales channels, including Amazon Direct Fulfillment, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart, Magento, Overstock, Shopify, Wayfair and CommerceHub, with shipping orchestration exported to Shipwork and order and shipment data synchronized back into Odoo. The project explicitly removed standalone Shipworks and QuickBooks applications as part of the consolidation and centralized inventory management flows. Stock levels and order completion statuses were synchronized to Magento and other storefronts to reduce oversells on configurable products.
Operationally the rollout centralized inventory and order processing for warehouses and product development teams, and moved configuration and dimension governance into Odoo admin settings to enforce fabric usage rules without exposing complexity to customers. Workflows were restructured so that configurable product orders flow from storefronts into Odoo Inventory, apply Fabric Minimal Wastage validation and then route shipping metadata through Shipwork before final channel reconciliation. The integration and governance model supported both e commerce and wholesale order streams managed from a single ERP instance.
Payless Decor reported improved sales channel integration, streamlined stock management and reduced fabric wastage as explicit outcomes of the engagement. The Odoo Inventory implementation enabled clearer order handling for customized products, improved warehouse tracking and a more user friendly product browsing experience via swatches and configuration options, which contributed to better customer interactions and operational efficiency.

Payless Decor | Retail | 30 | $4M | United States | Odoo | Odoo Purchasing | Procurement | 2020 |
In 2020 Payless Decor implemented Odoo Purchasing as part of an on-site Odoo Enterprise deployment led by Emipro, using the Procurement capabilities of Odoo to centralize purchase and procurement workflows for its curtain and textile retail business in the United States. The deployment linked Odoo Purchasing with an existing Odoo application footprint that included Sales, Invoicing, Inventory, Purchase, Studio, Tax based on Python Code Formula, Discuss, Contacts, Dashboards, Barcode, and Documents to create a unified order to procurement lifecycle.
Emipro configured the Purchase module to operate tightly with Inventory and Sales for configurable products, and they introduced a bespoke Fabric Minimal Wastage mechanism to constrain customer-entered dimensions at the front end while enforcing admin-controlled dimension rules at the back end. The implementation included front-end validation and product option enhancements such as swatches and configurable attributes for mounting options, width and height selection, color, controls, and accessories, enabling procurement and production teams to receive normalized, procurement-ready requirements for purchase planning and cutting instructions.
Integrations were explicit and directionally defined, orders from multiple sales channels including Amazon Direct Fulfillment FBA, Amazon Vendor Central FBM, Walmart, Magento, Overstock, Shopify, Wayfair, and CommerceHub were consolidated into Odoo via integration connectors, then exported to Shipwork for shipping orchestration and tracking before shipment data was imported back into Odoo and reconciled with the originating channel orders. Inventory feeds were exported from Odoo to Magento to maintain synchronized stock levels across B2B and B2C storefronts, enabling centralized inventory governance across Payless Decor channels.
Governance and rollout were delivered over a four month implementation timeline on an on-site Enterprise edition, with Emipro overseeing both front-end website enhancements and back-end procurement and inventory configuration. Process changes included enforced dimension limits, centralized inventory control for configurable SKUs, and an order validation flow tied to procurement and warehouse picking instructions. The explicit outcomes reported include improved sales channel integration, streamlined stock management, reduced fabric wastage through the Fabric Minimal Wastage system, enhanced product browsing and selection via swatches and filters, and improved warehouse order handling and customer order tracking.
