In 2017 Centria Servicios Administrativos deployed SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform to expand its services portfolio and deliver shared services to a broader range of industries on behalf of parent company Grupo Breca. The program was driven by requirements for stronger logistics and inventory support alongside centralized financial processing to meet new client demands.
The SAP S/4 HANA implementation concentrated on financial management capabilities, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and inventory and logistics extensions, with SAP Fiori apps and dashboards providing operational visibility and user self service. Configuration prioritized process standardization and automation to streamline invoice processing and centralize accounting tasks.
Deployment architecture used SAP S/4 HANA on IBM Power servers running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, and the project was executed with IBM Services as the system integrator. The technical stack was designed to support shared services delivery across Centria and to provide the transactional backbone for logistics and inventory operations required by new clients.
Governance moved toward centralized control and standardized workflows, aligning IT and finance around automated approval chains and dashboard driven monitoring. CIO Erika Acosta Cueva stated "The SAP S/4HANA solution deployed by IBM is helping me transform our business towards standardization, automation and efficiency."
Documented outcomes from the deployment included a reported USD 200000 saving from leveraging apps and dashboards in SAP Fiori, a USD 30000 reduction in accounting costs, and a 40 percent reduction in time required for tasks such as invoice processing.
