In 2022 Max New Zealand implemented Ontempo Retail Management to support omnichannel commerce after engaging Overdose Digital to replatform its Adobe Commerce storefront and integrate it with Ontempo. Overdose Digital replatformed the Adobe Commerce site and integrated Ontempo Retail Management to synchronise product range, inventory, orders, shipments, gift cards and loyalty, extending ecommerce and retail operations across New Zealand.
Ontempo Retail Management was configured to centralize catalog, inventory and order workflows consistent with a Retail Management deployment, with inferred use of ERP, loyalty and promotions modules based on the integration scope. The implementation used an API based integration layer to keep product and transactional data aligned between the Adobe Commerce storefront and the Ontempo Retail Management back end, and included configuration of catalog mapping, inventory availability logic, order orchestration and gift card and loyalty record synchronization.
Overdose Digital served as the system integrator for storefront replatforming and the Ontempo integration, and the operational coverage targeted ecommerce and brick and mortar retail operations across New Zealand. Business functions impacted included merchandising, inventory and fulfillment, store operations and customer loyalty management, with Ontempo Retail Management acting as the centralized source for range and stock data.
Governance work established a single point of truth for product range and loyalty state within Ontempo Retail Management, enabling consistent loyalty data and reconciled stock views across channels.
