The program leveraged Performance Analytics' SAP BPC conversion tool to reuse existing SAP BPC dimensions as initial design blocks, and used OneStream Direct Connect to SAP data in the data warehouse to support daily and on-demand batch loading. The majority of transactional feeds come from a single SAP instance representing 75 SAP entities, and the environment now processes approximately three million data records per month. For lease accounting, the implementation integrated Agium EPM's lease accounting solution into OneStream XF to manage over 5,000 leases, with OneStream producing leasing journal entries for month-end load. Governance and operational rollout focused on finance and accounting teams globally, with about 300 active users and increased direct engagement from controllers and administrators. The team executed one month of parallel close to validate OneStream XF outputs before go-live, and adopted OneStream guided workflow to assign tasks and provide visual progress oversight across month and quarter-end close activities. Explicit outcomes cited from the implementation include a reduction in regional data load windows from between one and six hours to approximately 20 minutes, and a compression of the corporate close cycle from Day 6 to Day 4. OneStream XF now serves as McCain Foods EPM platform supporting consolidation, reporting, lease accounting and managed data integrations. |
