In 2013 ADNH Compass implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Materials Management (MM) to support core Inventory Management capabilities across its hospitality operations. The program was delivered with SI partner Tally Marks Consulting and established a regional SAP footprint with central master data governance and multi country support for the Middle East and Central Asia region.
The implementation configured SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Materials Management (MM) modules as the backbone of a Procure to Pay system, including Catalogue Management APL MOG, Order Management, GPO and Food Buy business processes, Purchase Income modules, and Invoice Automation with a Vendor Portal. SAP Fiori Portal was provisioned for Employee and Manager Self Services to extend ESS MSS functionality, and Fiori based workflow approvals were implemented for Purchase Order, Purchase Request, Capex, Invoice Cancellation, Credit Note, Unit Staff Request and Final Settlement to provide mobile enabled approval flows for operations and head office users.
Operational integrations focused on vendor facing automation and approval orchestration rather than third party system replacements, aligning Inventory Management with procurement, accounts payable and operational workflows. The deployment supported ongoing SAP support and master data management across UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Angola and Kazakhstan, and the program included SAP instance carve out work to separate Middle East and Asia landscapes.
Governance and process ownership were formalized with named SAP MM and SAP HCM process owners, central master data stewardship, and enterprise technology standards instituted for the region. Program leadership documented outcomes reported by the client including substantial cost savings and marked productivity improvements as part of the governance and measurement framework.

In 2013 ADNH Compass implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Financial Accounting (FI) as the central ERP Financial platform, with Tally Marks Consulting engaged for SAP implementation, support and roll-outs. The program delivered a regional template and rollout approach, creating country templates for UAE, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Nigeria, Angola and the Sakhalin Islands and executing deployments across 300 sites.
The implementation encompassed core Financial Accounting FI and Controlling CO configuration, Materials Management MM, and HR with payroll configured for 15,000 employees, reflecting an operational scope across finance, supply chain and HR functions. Employee self-service ESS and manager self-service MSS were implemented alongside a Document Management System DMS .NET, and PP and MM integration work was under way to extend production planning into the ERP landscape.
Architecturally the engagement included NetWeaver integration for site supply chain connectivity and Business Warehouse BW for centralized reporting, which supported a Global Supply Chain Dashboard, Spend Analysis, Price Variance Analysis and Inflation Analyses. The SAP landscape was upgraded and migrated to a cloud data center, the SAP ECC database of 1.8 TB was upgraded and virtualized with SAP-specific optimizations, and the complete migration and upgrade was executed in seven months.
Operational governance and data controls were implemented through a relational master data repository seeded from 10 Excel sheets, an upload file validation program for those 10 uploads, and fixed master data maintenance screens for central maintenance. User authorization models were established with two submitter roles and a country-attached master data maintenance role, and front-end portals were integrated into SAP including a Menu Planning Portal, Recipe Creation and Management portals, and a Food Cost Management Portal used by kitchen, mess, canteen and store supervisors to carry out production and inventory processes in SAP toward accurate food costing.

The deployment included core SAP modules and peripherals, explicitly FI, CO, HR and MM with Payroll configured for 15,000 employees, as well as ESS and MSS self service and a DMS built on .NET. Netweaver integration was implemented for site supply chain connectivity and BW was provisioned for reporting, with PP and deeper MM integration noted as currently being implemented. Functional coverage included general ledger and controlling workflows, payroll processing, procurement and inventory management, and front end portals for menu planning, recipe creation and recipe management.
The technical architecture included a complete SAP landscape upgrade and migration, a migration to a cloud data center and a database consolidation for SAP ECC with a database footprint of 1.8 TB, virtualization tuned for SAP workloads and a complete migration and upgrade delivered in seven months. Governance included centralized master data maintenance and role-based submission workflows, with rollout templates and support across multiple countries and 300 operational sites.
