In 2024 Henry Colbeck implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its main IT system, establishing a single ERP Financial backbone to support its fast-moving distribution operations. The deployment was positioned to serve sales, purchasing, finance, warehousing and transport across its North of England and Scotland distribution footprint while supporting country-wide bulk oil supply and recycling services.
The implementation configured core financial management, order-to-cash sales order processing, purchase-to-pay procurement, and warehouse management capabilities including voice-directed picking workflows. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was used to centralize transactional ledgers, inventory valuation and order orchestration, aligning inventory and transport planning with financial posting and procurement controls.
Technology Management led the implementation and integrated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a number of Clever Dynamics products, voice-directed warehouse picking solutions and additional specialist applications to maintain seamless operational handoffs. Integrations linked warehouse picking, transport scheduling and sales order data into Business Central so that inventory movements and invoicing flowed through the same system of record.
Operational coverage included core commercial, finance and logistics teams, with governance focused on standardized order processing, inventory control and financial posting workflows across sites. The project supported an explicit outcome where Henry Colbeck ramped up productivity to hit 50% revenue growth without increasing headcount, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central remaining the central ERP Financial system supporting that scale.

In 2012, MARS Horsecare UK Ltd engaged Technology Management to deploy Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial platform to support a new direct-to-consumer ecommerce initiative. The decision targeted a cloud deployment model to accelerate time to production and minimize upfront capital, with software licensed per user per month and no on-premises hardware required.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 was provisioned in the cloud as the back-end financial system, responsible for core financial processing and order-to-cash workflows supporting the ecommerce storefront. Configuration work focused on integrating transactional order data into financial ledgers, invoicing, and payment reconciliation, aligning standard ERP Financial capabilities with retail-facing sales and customer account processes.
The ecommerce site was integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 so that customer orders from horse owners flowed into NAV for financial posting and reporting. Technology Management provided the hosting platform as well as the deployment and configuration of the software, creating a single support boundary so performance and application support could be controlled without split responsibility between a separate host and an implementation partner.
The solution and site went live in February 2013, delivering a low initial investment model through cloud provisioning and per-user licensing. The combined hosting and implementation approach increased customer confidence in ongoing performance and support, and aligned finance, sales, and customer engagement functions under a centrally managed ERP Financial implementation.

In 2023, McGeoch Technology implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its core ERP platform. The deployment was positioned to modernize finance and operational systems for the manufacturing business, explicitly using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the ERP Financial category to support the company’s specialist lighting, electrical control and Precision Ceramics activities.
The implementation configured core financial management capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and cost accounting, alongside inventory and stock control and production order workflows aligned to discrete manufacturing processes. Configuration emphasized out-of-the-box Business Central financial modules with manufacturing-aligned workflows to consolidate transactional finance and inventory records for the Precision Ceramics division and broader production teams.
Tecman provided the local implementation support and Technology Management is listed as the system integrator, coordinating deployment and ongoing application development. The rollout covered operational finance and manufacturing functions rather than ancillary systems, and integrations were scoped to align transactional finance and stock records within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
McGeoch reported materially improved application support and a more proactive development cadence after engaging Tecman and Technology Management, and the upgrade from Dynamics NAV 2015 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central proceeded faster and with less disruption than expected.
