Nomura Real Estate Development | Manufacturing | 10 | $1M | Japan | Suprema | Suprema FaceStation F2 | Time Clock (Hardware) | 2021 | In 2021, Nomura Real Estate Development deployed Suprema FaceStation F2 as a contactless identification solution for its H¹O shared office sites, listed under the Time Clock (Hardware) Apps Category. The deployment addressed a need to centralize operations and reduce touchpoints for tenants while preserving building security, noting that since 2019 the site had been using FaceStation 2 which required physical contact during enrollment. Suprema FaceStation F2 was selected to enable contactless enrollment and access control without requiring administrators to meet tenants face to face. The installation included one hundred units of Suprema FaceStation F2 at the Shin-Osaka H¹O branch, supplemented by DM-20 parcel locker units, BioStation L2-OM, CoreStation, OM-120 modules, and XPass S2M-V2 devices. BioStar 2 Professional was implemented as the central management software to centrally control, manage, and monitor all access points and tenant common services. FaceStation F2 was configured to accelerate facial enrollment workflows and to support day to day access authentication across main entrances, tenant office doors, and parcel lockers. Architecturally, FaceStation F2 units were RS-485 wired to the parcel locking system and to an intrusion alarm panel, while CoreStation was installed to orchestrate automatic doors and emergency exits. The system integration focused on synchronized control between biometric readers, parcel lockers, output modules, and alarm inputs to create cohesive building access and delivery workflows. Tenpo Planning acted as the implementation partner coordinating hardware provisioning and on site integration activities. Operational governance centralized access and delivery event logging through BioStar 2, enabling building managers to monitor tenant access data and parcel delivery and shipping records from a unified console. The solution established H¹O as a contact free zone and delivered the explicit benefits stated by the customer, including reduced touchpoints, enhanced building wide security through centralized management, and an easier enrollment process for tenants. Approval to expand Suprema’s facial recognition solution to additional H¹O branches followed the Shin-Osaka rollout. |
