In 2016 AAA Texas implemented UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper (ex Kronos Workforce Timekeeper) as its Time and Attendance application to centralize employee time capture for call center workforce logistics and payroll support. The deployment positioned UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper to serve call center operations and HR payroll functions across the company, aligning timekeeping with contact center staffing and workforce logistics processes.
The configuration emphasized core Time and Attendance capabilities in UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper, including real-time punch capture, timecard management, shift scheduling, exception handling, and payroll export rules. Business rules were configured for pay codes, overtime and exception workflows to reflect call center staffing patterns and adherence monitoring typical of workforce logistics operations.
Operational integration linked timekeeping records to Genesys CCPulse for real-time call interaction reporting, enabling alignment of contact center activity with time and attendance data, and retained Kronos Time terminology consistent with the product lineage. Governance assigned HR and operations ownership for time approvals and exception resolution, with phased operational rollouts and validation of payroll interfaces to ensure alignment between UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper, contact center reporting, and payroll processing.
