Configuration work emphasized harmonizing global process flows and reducing bespoke customization, while preserving industry-specific features required for life sciences and radiotherapy product operations.
Deployment used RISE with SAP and the SAP S/4 HANA Cloud operational model to centralize application security and platform management, enabling a cloud-first architecture for core business processes. Integrations were scoped across existing enterprise systems to unify transactional data for sales, finance, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics, enabling end to end process orchestration across Accuray’s global operations.
Program governance combined Accuray IT leadership with Cognizant delivery management and SAP product stewardship, with a compressed rollout cadence to meet the sub 12 month timeline. The implementation explicitly targeted improved scalability, harmonized global processes, enhanced application security, and accelerated digitalization of Accuray’s global business processes, setting the stage for further adoption of SAP capabilities within the ERP Financial domain.
