The deployment established the Jack Henry Credit Union Management application as the central ledger and transaction processor for retail lending and member account lifecycle management. The implementation included a configured loan application workflow and an automated case workflow that spans internal teams, external partners, members, and prospects, and Symitar PowerOn scripts were enhanced to extend transaction processing and business rule execution. A .NET Core REST API, SymXchange, was developed to facilitate communication between the Jack Henry Symitar Core and internal applications, enabling service oriented integration and event exchange. Integrations were explicitly built to third party APIs including Visa, LexisNexis, and Wise, supporting external payment routing, identity and screening checks, and cross border movement of funds within the Credit Union Management environment. Architecture work focused on API orchestration and script driven core extensions, while prototype employee productivity applications were developed that utilized the ChatGPT API to explore automation of routine member interactions. Governance and ongoing delivery were organized around application maintenance, PowerOn script lifecycle management, and iterative feature delivery, with a Solutions Architect responsible for technical design, mentoring developers, and managing project stories and task assignments from 2020 onward. |
