Configuration work centered on dashboards, WB reports, and SlicerDicer to provide flexible population management, cohort analysis, and benchmarking capabilities. Epic ASAP was instrumented alongside Cogito Reporting tools to deliver actionable analytics tied to user workflows, enabling population-level analysis and operational performance monitoring.
The implementation covered reporting and analytics for emergency department, laboratory, infection control, and wound care workflows through ASAP ED, Beaker Laboratory, Bugsy Infection Control, and Wound Care reporting streams. Cogito Reporting served as the analytics layer, consolidating event and clinical data from these Epic modules for cross functional clinical review and surveillance.
Governance and rollout were organized around a Cogito Reporting project manager role, responsible for configuring reports to match clinical roles, enforcing report access patterns, and operationalizing monitoring for key areas of focus. Ongoing configuration work emphasized role specific dashboards and slicer based exploration to allow Advocate Aurora Health to manage patient populations, analyze and benchmark clinical and operational performance, and monitor improvements.
