The implementation was executed as a module inside Aecon's SuccessFactors ecosystem and was governed through the Manager, Workforce Analytics and HR Technology. Configuration focused on recruiting marketing workflows typical for the category, including career site content management, candidate nurturing and segmentation, campaign orchestration, events and campus recruiting support, and recruiting analytics to inform sourcing strategies.
Integrations were aligned with other SuccessFactors modules noted in internal requirements, specifically Recruiting Management RCM, Employee Central EC, and the LMS where applicable, enabling data flow for candidate records, onboarding readiness, and learning pathway assignment. Operational coverage centered on Talent Acquisition, HR operations, and Workforce Analytics teams with hands on support described from an HR Systems Specialist role located in Toronto, Canada.

In 2010 Aecon Group implemented Trimble Accubid Classic as its Construction Estimating application. The deployment served as the estimating layer within Aecon's Bedrock enterprise program, supporting bidding and bid-to-win workflows across Energy, Construction, Buildings, Mining and Utilities business units.
Trimble Accubid Classic was configured to deliver core estimating capabilities including digital takeoff, cost database management, bid preparation and assembly pricing, aligning estimate structures to Aecon project-centric cost codes. The Accubid Classic implementation was tailored to produce standardized estimate outputs that feed project budgeting and forecasting workflows and harmonize with commercial project controls.
The Accubid Classic instance was integrated into a broader technology stack that included SAP modules such as Project Systems, SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, AA, Solution Manager, SAP BW and BPC, the Commercial Project Management module, Oracle Primavera P6 and InEight HardDollar, and point solutions including Concur, Wintik, FOS, Compass, OneClick and Clarity. Integration emphasis was on transferring estimate data into SAP project accounting and scheduling systems, and on reconciling Accubid outputs with Primavera P6 and HardDollar for planning and cost control.
Governance for the Trimble Accubid Classic rollout was embedded in the Bedrock program and leveraged SAP ASAP and Agile methodologies, with a technical deployment and data migration teaming model and a peak program team exceeding 117 resources. Implementation activities focused on aligning estimating processes with project execution, procurement and billing workflows, and on establishing data migration and governance controls between Accubid Classic and enterprise systems.
