Alteryx Legacy Alteryx One Platform Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2016 2016 In 2016 AGL Energy, Ltd. deployed Alteryx One Platform as a Self-Service Data Analytics Platform to centralize pricing analytics for its commercial pricing team and data analysts. The deployment targeted pricing and forecasting workflows, enabling both technical analysts and nontechnical business users to access analytics, author SQL queries, and consume visualization outputs for decision making. The Alteryx One Platform implementation focused on analytics modeling and automation, including data blending, repeatable workflow orchestration, and dashboard generation. The team used Alteryx to operationalize customer lifetime value modeling across electricity, gas, NBN and mobile product lines, capturing revenue, cost of goods sold, and operational costs such as costs to serve and costs to acquire at the customer level. Integrations included designed data feeds from AGL core systems into a new third party pricing application, and automated web scraping to deliver weekly competitor analysis and visualizations. A master data management solution was introduced alongside Alteryx One Platform to improve reliability and governance of key pricing inputs while allowing business users to maintain inputs without technical skills. From July 2018 the Pricing Solution Architect led a team of data analysts and consultants to extend the platform, migrate spreadsheet modelling into controlled analytics workflows, and produce visual dashboards that expose impacts at the customer and portfolio level. The work enabled the pricing team to move away from spreadsheet based models, supported more accurate forecasting and budget comparison using current portfolio and consumption mix, and anchored the Pricing, Revenue and Strategy functions on the Alteryx One Platform Self-Service Data Analytics Platform for repeatable pricing science.

SAP Legacy SAP Solution Manager (ex SolMan) Application Lifecycle Management ITSM TCS 2016 2016 In 2016 AGL Energy, Ltd. deployed SAP Solution Manager (ex SolMan) as its Application Lifecycle Management platform, with TCS acting as the system integrator. The deployment centralized test and release orchestration across Agile delivery teams and positioned SAP Solution Manager (ex SolMan) as the authoritative system for test management, change control approvals and release coordination within the Application Lifecycle Management domain. Configuration work focused on test management and release governance modules inside SAP Solution Manager (ex SolMan), implementing structured test strategy, test case management, monitoring and reporting for System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, regression testing and bi-lateral testing for B2B transactions. The implementation formalized Rev-trac approval workflows, established sole sign-off gates for monthly regression releases, and incorporated performance testing workflows to validate non functional requirements. Operational scope covered onshore and offshore Agile scrum teams responsible for all testing and deployment activities, and extended to third party vendor management and integrations with market participants including AEMO, Equifax, FX, MDH and Computershare. SAP Solution Manager (ex SolMan) supported program level initiatives such as ISU-CRM patch upgrade, Project Mesh, Life Support market testing, Energy Insights and automation of BPEM exception case workflows, aligning Application Lifecycle Management processes to end to end industry testing and B2B transaction scenarios. Governance and process restructuring included regular status and change management meetings to coordinate cutover activities, prioritization of resource allocation, stakeholder management and post deployment testing support and troubleshooting orchestrated through SAP Solution Manager (ex SolMan). A TOSCA based automation framework was established to automate a regression suite of more than 200 test cases, reducing regression execution from a week to one day, while performance testing responsibilities validated that system response met defined NFRs.
