Governance and rollout prioritized standardized finance processes, centralized controls and staged adoption across business units to manage change and maintain accounting integrity. According to published SAP user insights, the SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance implementation delivered improved efficiency for AkzoNobel finance operations.

Operational coverage targeted central HR, talent management and recruitment functions within AkzoNobel, with governance instituted around data migration validation, staged testing and approval workflow ownership. The implementation placed SAP SuccessFactors Compensation at the center of Compensation Management for HR and talent teams, consolidating compensation administration into the broader SuccessFactors suite.
