In 2015, Al Naboodah Contracting Co. LLC implemented Epicor HCM for Core HR. The deployment targeted employee lifecycle and workforce administration functions across HR, Administration, Finance shared services and project labour resource teams, covering staff and labour attendance and movement tracking.
Epicor HCM was configured to manage employee master records, leave and absence tracking, muster roll attendance, overtime approval workflows, transfers, resignations, terminations and exit documentation. The configuration supported routine HR tasks such as maintaining records for employees proceeding on leave, rejoining, newly joining, transfers, and separations, and processing requests for certificates and NOC.
The implementation integrated with Kronos for time and attendance capture, with daily wages hours, overtime hours and presence or absence data monitored in Kronos and reconciled into Epicor HCM for HR workflows and payroll support. Operational coordination extended to Project Managers and the Labour Resource team for on hire, off hire and transfers, and to the Finance shared service team to align payroll inputs with attendance and muster roll records.
Governance and process changes emphasized structured approval paths, overtime request sheets and incentive hour approvals routed to respective department heads, and formalized tracking of leave balances and exit documentation. Employee grievance handling and transfer or separation processing were standardized through coordinated workflows between HR, specific departments and administration.
