| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019, Allianz Ireland deployed SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a wider SAP SuccessFactors rollout, addressing Compensation Management alongside Employee Central and related talent modules. The engagement was executed within a global HR transformation program that aimed to place every operating entity on a single HR platform, with the implementation explicitly covering Employee Central interfacing with Core HR Payroll Unit4 Agresso which was retained for payroll processing only.
The implementation scope included configuration and data onboarding for Employee Central, Talent Management and Performance Management, Comp and VP, and the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation module. Workstreams focused on organisational structure design, position management and loading employee master data into Employee Central, ongoing validation and reconciliation after each data load, and documenting reporting requirements to meet HR and business needs.
Integrations were centered on the Employee Central to Unit4 Agresso interface, with responsibilities including defining data mapping, executing data migration from Agresso to Employee Central, and implementing data quality reviews and reconciliation processes. The role maintained close operational links with the Agresso Systems Analyst, business analysts, IT, payroll and finance stakeholders to ensure data mapping impacts were understood and agreed across work streams.
Governance activities covered local admin process documentation including selection of system dropdown options, design and delivery of HR admin training, and establishing consistent role profiles and ways of working for HR administration. The program included conducting a formal gap analysis to compare the As Is state with the Group prescribed To Be model, and updating workflows to ensure business as usual service levels were maintained during cutover.
Operational responsibilities emphasized leading the relationship with IT, keeping HR business partners and the project team regularly informed, and overseeing audit resolution actions in line with Employee Central process changes. The narrative centers on systems integration, data governance, and HR process redesign tied directly to SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and the Compensation Management functional domain.

| Guidewire | Legacy | Guidewire Canvas | Insurance Claims Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Allianz Ireland implemented Guidewire Canvas for Insurance Claims Management as part of the broader EBI program to strengthen MI and BI capabilities across claims operations. The work was led by a Lead Solution Architect who anchored solution and technical architecture activities for claims landing and analytics integration, aligned with program objectives to improve efficiency, promote transparency and enable insight across the MI BI ecosystem.
The implementation centered on Guidewire Canvas configuration for claims capture and presentation, with explicit attention to Claims Landing and the Claims logical data model. Responsibilities included creation of solution and technical architecture documents, review of data models and ETL designs, and development of interface specifications from Master Data Management to the data warehouse, reflecting standard Insurance Claims Management workflows for claim intake, adjudication, and reporting.
Architecturally the engagement documented candidate interfaces between Guidewire components and a Hadoop analytic landing zone, and specified ETL streams for feeding the DWH and BI layers. The program also included product deployment architecture work and integrations that extended beyond Guidewire, covering MDM to DWH interface specifications and analytics ingestion patterns used by downstream MI BI consumers.
Governance and operationalization activities included conducting IT architecture review sessions, providing product capabilities and feature training, and authoring interface and deployment specifications to support controlled rollout. The Lead Solution Architect drove impact analysis and design across data architecture and ETL streams to ensure alignment between Guidewire Canvas configuration and enterprise data management practices.
Program objectives emphasized delivering Business Intelligence while improving data management practices, with the Guidewire Canvas deployment positioned to support Allianz Ireland claims operations and enterprise reporting needs. The implementation narrative ties Allianz Ireland, Guidewire Canvas, Insurance Claims Management and claims business functions into a coherent architecture and governance story focused on data integration and MI BI enablement.
