| SAP | Oracle iExpense | SAP Concur Invoice | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014 Ametek implemented SAP Concur Invoice as its AP Automation platform, replacing Oracle iExpense for invoice and accounts payable processing. The deployment targeted Ametek's North American business units and centralized transaction handling through a Shared Services Center, where accounts payable coordinators perform high volume invoice processing and payment activities.
The deployment of SAP Concur Invoice focused on invoice capture and three way PO matching, configurable approval workflows, and automated payment batch creation for OK to pay invoices. Functional coverage documented in operational roles includes exception handling for match failures, creation of emergency manual checks, supplier onboarding and updates, vendor bank account maintenance, voids and stop payment handling, and support for posting journals to the general ledger and month end reconciliations.
Operational integrations and system interfaces are centered on supplier master data and financial close processes, with SAP Concur Invoice interacting with the general ledger posting workflow and coexisting with the Concur Expense environment for user support and cross functional expense and invoice activities. The implementation therefore links supplier activation and vendor banking maintenance into AP Automation processes and supports downstream tax activities such as W 9 maintenance and 1099 reporting.
Governance and process restructuring concentrated work in the Shared Services Center and formalized AP coordinator responsibilities for payment inquiries, mail processing, and support for tax and financial audits. Workflow orchestration within SAP Concur Invoice established clear routing for approvals and payment batching, while operational procedures codified emergency check processing and journal posting steps to align AP Automation controls with month end and audit requirements.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014, AMETEK implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a global SAP SuccessFactors HCM and HXM rollout. The deployment targeted Compensation Management to standardize pay planning and executive compensation across the company, serving a workforce of more than 18,000 employees in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, and Asia.
The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation implementation was configured alongside related SuccessFactors modules including Performance Management, Succession, Variable Pay, Recruiting, and Employee Central. Configuration work emphasized compensation planning workflows, variable pay administration and integration with Employee Central as the authoritative workforce data source, enabling calibrated pay processes and structured approval workflows typical of Compensation Management solutions.
Integrations were executed to align compensation processes with payroll and external systems, including operational linkage to the ADP Payroll system for more than 9,000 US employees and broader integrations to internal and external HR data consumers to maintain compliance with data privacy requirements. The program involved cross-functional orchestration between Corporate IT, HR, and business subject matter experts to manage data flows, interfaces and validation across the global estate.
Governance and rollout were led from the AMETEK HRIS organization, which directed design, development, testing and administration activities, prepared business cases and budgets, and managed vendor and application lifecycle decisions. The implementation included structured testing cycles, global deployment staging, and process alignment with HR, benefits, payroll and M&A workflows to embed the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation application into AMETEKs enterprise HR operations.
