Tata Consultancy Services Legacy TCS iON Digital Campus Education ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2020
Amity University implemented TCS iON Digital Campus in 2019 to centralize finance and fees operations within an Education ERP footprint across Rajasthan and Delhi for Amity Education Group. The TCS iON Digital Campus deployment focused on finance centric capabilities, aligning purchase and expense processing with fees management and statutory reporting workflows. Implementation scope included configuration of Purchase and Expenses modules in TCS iON Digital Campus, periodical updation of books of account, and verification of data migration from the Amizon system into TCS iON to ensure proper accounting of historical fees transactions and revenues. Financial reporting and control capabilities were configured to produce Monthly MIS for management, including profit and loss, cash flow statements, department level reports, budget and variance reporting, and calculation and processing of security deposit refunds for student exits. The rollout integrated the Education ERP with external payments and collection channels, coordinating with Axis Bank easy pay, Paytm, a Tech process team for fees collection software, and ICICI Bank Jaipur for implementation of the I -Sure fees collection solution. Procurement and project status reporting tied into government procurement rules by assisting procurement teams to comply with GFR Rules 2017 and CPP e-procurement procedures. Governance and operational controls were established through participation in internal committees to implement internal control systems, verification and authorization of bills and vouchers, and coordination with technical teams for iterative improvements to accounting and fees systems. Compliance workflows for direct tax and indirect tax obligations were maintained, covering TDS returns and GST returns, payments, annual returns and reverse charge mechanisms as part of operational governance.
