Workday Absence Management was configured alongside CoreHR, Recruiting, Compensation, and Performance modules, with explicit attention to CoreHR functions such as Supervisory Org management, Position and Worker data management. Configuration work focused on business process changes for absence workflows, maintenance of Workday master data values, and implementing automated leave approval and absence tracking processes consistent with Workday HCM capabilities.
The program included testing of integrations and security features with enterprise HR and IT interfaces, and cross-functional resource planning to align HR processes and system configuration with operational priorities across APA’s Australian operations. The Workday Enterprise Solutions team also acted as an escalation resource, balanced operational support with strategic enhancements, and maintained system documentation to support continuous improvement within absence and leave management.
