Governance changes accompanying the rollout included standardized KPI governance, biweekly one to one performance reviews, weekly team meetings, approvals and MI reconciliation sign off for underwriters, and new purchase order and e invoice controls enforced through reporting and stakeholder meetings. The implementation supported line management of finance staff and centralized visibility for payments approvals up to £25K and commission and journal adjustments. Explicit outcomes recorded after the Microsoft Power BI implementation included a reduction in debtor balances by £1M in nine months and a month end forecasting cycle shortened to working day 5 from day 8 following a forecasting automation project run alongside IT. Additional operational results tied to the system and process changes included creation of management accounts after the new reporting environment went live and support for two company mergers with setup of new contracts, budgets and smooth transition of four additional employees.
